On one of the last weekends of summer we packed up the car and drove out to Banff (in the middle of the night) to enjoy ourselves one last time before fall (aka school) kicked in (aka us).

Not too much to see for wildlife, aside from gulls and the plovers and pipers. But the view was excellent, and the weather was amazing.
