Right, that would be me. As some of you might have realized, Marie is nothing but an alias, and a thinly-veiled one at that. But honestly, how often do middle names really get used in this day and age. Mine really needed something to do. It gets all dressed up but only gets to come out on special occasions, like medical paperwork and driver's licenses. Time for it to have some good-ol-fashion every day fun. No fancy clothes required.

Life for me is simple. In a complex sort of way. For almost a quarter of a decade now I have immersed myself in my education. The past three years have been the hardest yet, such that eating, sleeping and a social life have been seriously threatened. But they say that you should do what you enjoy, and for the most part, I love it. Just don't ask me around final exams. You may get a different sort of answer.

I am a BC girl stuck in the prairie flat-lands of Saskatoon. Which means that winters here are pretty miserable, because I have yet to develop my wind-proof skin. But little things about this city have endeared it to me slightly. Most significantly the fact that if I were not in this city, I would not be training and working towards my dream career. So Saskatoon can stay. But the winters can maybe ease up a bit.

Some things about me
1) One of my goals in life is to find pleasure in the simple things
2) I love to laugh. A lot. And I love the people who make this easy.
3) If a beat moves me, I can't resist the urge to dance. Be it in my living room or the supermarket check out line. Sometimes you just got to dance.
