spring on the prairies

There may be snow and ice and slush on the ground, and we may have had a snow storm last week, but don't let that fool you. With the weather reaching the positives this weekend and peaking up to twenty degree next week, spring has arrived.

Today was the second day in a row that my car broke down. Yesterday I had the good graces to kill a few hours having lunch with some friends. Today, however, I was stuck playing the waiting game. Waiting to get my car to the shop. Waiting for my next appointment in town. Waiting for my car to be ready. Waiting for the bus so I can go get my car. Waiting, waiting, waiting.

But waiting on campus isn't so bad. It was a beautiful melty-snow kind of day. Big clumpy flakes, not too cold, just the right amount of wind. And not yet to the point of having to avoid puddles. It was a good day to wander campus and be a photo nerd.
